I just finished viewing Daniel Amen, M.D. and his wife Tana, the latter who gave this:

START EACH DAY WITH INTENTION, GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION.

WHERE YOU PLACE YOUR ATTENTION DETERMINES HOW YOU FEEL and how your brain performs.

"Today is going to be great."

State:  "One thing I am grateful for is __________________"

"One person I appreciate is _________________"

 

A good substitute from my point of view to starting the day with "Is it going to happen today?" or "When is it going to happen?" or similar questions that produce stress and anxiety, although they are "normal."
