When I first looked at your picture, Bill...I saw a young Mike Johnson, Speaker of the House. That's a good thing, Bill...he's nice looking...so are you.
Well, try as I may, I was unable to post a snapshot of my dusty old uniform still hanging in my closet. i retired as a CMC with 24 years of service. (Construction Mechanic Chief Petty Officer US Navy Seabee.)
Oh yes, I forgot to mention that after completing my military, I turned my attention toward education. graduated in 1997 and shortly after college I published my first book "A tale of Five Poms" and I have two more books in process. For a time, I also became a fully license Insurance agent for a couple of years. Now I'm saying all this not to brag on my accomplishments but the point I'm trying to make is that getting old does not have to end up in an early retirement home where accomplishments do not need to end by some date on a birth certificate. I believe that anyone can just sit back and wait to die by just falling into the old age somewhere. Keeping busy and not falling into the "I'm Too old" attitude. Now there may come a time when my body will start keeping me from living much longer. Some folks may just call me "Lucky" I prefer, "Determined" OK enough said.
