A QUIET HEART

 

The word of truth is music to our ear

   God’s words we hear ever so clear:

It is so loud that we all should hear!

 

The truth I leave you is like a deep well;

   The blood of life that men should know

The written word is in every infinite detail.

   A quit heart is like sweetness to your soul.

And in the stillness a small voice always calls

And the spirit, the soul, the conscience thrall.

 

The prince of the world cometh, and not of me,

Let not your heart be troubled, and let life be -

Have a quiet heart - Only truth can set you free!
