I wish you comfort and strength in this most difficult time. Losing a parent is one of the most difficult challenges during our life time. Spend this time recalling all the wonderful times and things your Dad did for your family. So sorry for your loss!

2562, I am so sorry to hear that your dad has passed away. I know the pain. My dad passed away, not long ago. The thought that keeps me going is that some day, we will all be reunited.

I am so very sorry for your loss, keeping you and your family in prayer. There was so much you wanted to share with him. May God continue to use you as his faithful servant through this experience. The pain we experience with a loved ones death never goes away, we just find a place to park it in our minds. May God Bless you.

2562 I am sorry for your loss. My Dad passed in November of last year and my family and I are still going through it. May the Most High provide you with comfort and strength to endure it and guidance to move forward. He will always live in your hearts and his love will pass on to your children.

My father died on the golf course. Same type of heart problem. I know he is available, in my heart, to overcome anytime I ask.

It was sudden and way too young. We cannot determine.

You know 2562bce, the day is assuredly arising over the horizon when we Believers will be commanding people back from the dead as effortlessly as Jesus did and admonished us TO do, no matter the circumstances of health or accident. We have crossed that timeline bridge into God's Kingdom Age, and we are NOW privy to begin tasting IN GREAT STRIDES, the powers of the world (the Millenial Age) to come! (Hebrews 6:5)

Nevertheless, your father was ready to go, and it sounds as if he went peaceably...the BEST way to leave this broken world, IMO. Even if someone called him back from the dead, after tasting the joys and delights of Heaven and succumbing to the irrestible love of Jesus and The Father, your father would very likely have come back swinging and demanding of the one who called him back to this realm, 'WHAT.WERE.YOU.THINKING??!!'

Right now your father is in his youth again, and he's NEVER looked and felt so good! He's NEVER been so happy, praise God! He.is.Home! You can rejoice and be glad for him, even in your sadness and grief, and learn all you can about Heaven. More and more people ARE having experiences of being taken there to visit in the Spirit than ever before! And observe your sleeping dreams about your father: What is he doing? What does he say to you?

Your father was openly welcomed by the biblical Abraham at the Entrance Gate into Heaven, a large, brimming-with-smiles and twinkling eyes, barrel-chested man who was MORE than delighted to meet the acquaintance your father!

And when your father encountered Jesus in Heaven...WHOAAAA!!! At some early point, Jesus steps completely INTO those who arrive in Heaven to stay. A complete merger process occurs for some moments, and He turns around and looks through their eyes, and all those last vestiges of brokenness and darkness accrued from life on earth are given a clean and final sweep from their souls. More than ever, your father's life HAS ONLY BEGUN, praise God!!

May you and your family be blessed, covered, and protected during this fragile and sensitive time in your lives.

Dear 2562

My deepest condolences to you and your family. Losing a parent is never an easy thing to go through.
I have lost both and still miss them and always will...because they raised me and loved me unconditionally
and I was most blessed by God to have them. While dealing with their passings...a family friend gave me
a little prayer (of sorts) that really help me with my loss:
Let God gather together what he has planted in His garden
He takes nothing out of season

I pray you are given much comfort from our heavenly Father above in knowing your father is in his care
and that graces are bestowed upon you & your family during this difficult time.

p.s. Your last paragraph was most profoundly stated....capturing the true essence of God's Plan and His
son's sacrifice for our redemption.

My family and I just want to thank everyone for their concern and condolences. I have personally replied to each person who left a comment on this thread to show my gratitude.

After searching my heart I have that I would like to begin moving on now and continue to remember my father privately. So, I am closing this thread, not because I don't want anymore comforting words from my friends, but rather to avoid the subject unexpectedly popping up in chat weeks or months later when someone decides to post in it at a time when I have put the subject behind me.

Thank you all again for your support.
